I love chemical plant, everyone does. But we already got chemical plant in Sonic Generations, and I wanted to see a different zone get representation. Like Oil Ocean for example.

Green Hill (We get Green Hill like every game, bleh)
Chemical Plant
Flying Battery
Stardust speedway
And two original zones

They should have hired the guy who made the Sonic: Before and After sequel. The Zones weren't "original" but they served as a great mashup of two existing zones.

When will everyone realize that Sonic sucks and they should stop setting expectations for it? Even Sonic Mania doesn't sound that interesting to me, it's the type of game I might pick up a few years later when I'm feeling up for something cheap and simple

Yeah I'm getting sick of seeing the over representation of Green Hill.

Like, I get it. It's an iconic zone. But I'm getting sick of seeing it.

Even Sonic Mania doesn't sound that interesting to me, it's the type of game I might pick up a few years later when I'm feeling up for something cheap and simple

The last Sonic game I enjoyed was Generations. I never bothered with Sonic 4 and I doubt I'll bother with this or Sonic Forces.

I've always preferred the look and music of Emerald Hill Zone more. Too bad it's always kicked to the curb by its older brother...

And yeah, I would rather have zones not used in Generations to be in Mania, like Spring Yard or Mystic Cave.

I'd actually want all new stages. They should have made this what Sonic 4 should have been but I guess they don't have that much confidence.
