Uh, considering this round ended before the word "primetime" said it would even begin, I think it's a pretty good argument. Even if it lasted beyond 11pm, it would at least take place during the prime time hours unlike this last round.

I remember one contest (maybe the last one), there was a very long stretch where it was decided that weekends would be skipped and all the weekday rounds started earlier than 3 pm. I remember joking at the time that it was easier for me to schedule a dentist appointment than be able to vote in a round.

Thanks. It's nice to at least see one person that doesn't just sit there and either make fun of me or argue with me that the rounds should stay the same all the time forever because they're selfish people. All I'd like is the once in a while round of 8pm or later starting time. That's it. I'm happy to at least see one person that isn't mocking or unwilling to be reasonable at all, so still, thanks for that.

I asked for a prime time hours round, which has an established meaning. The host and another say this was a prime time round, and I try to correct them because what I was asking for was a round that started after 8pm and took place majorly in the hours of prime time. So yeah, I can. I can blame people who show up to issue a one sentence or word mockery or "lmao" at me too, because all I was asking for was a round with a later start time. It has nothing to do with the semantics of the word prime time, it has to do with the fact I would like rounds started during that time period and will not get them.

Charon definitely shouldn't be argued against every time he asks for a night round, it's a fair request and it's all up to the hosts' discretion anyway.

Yeah, that's what I've argued for in the past, too. I'm not asking for all primetime rounds, because that wouldn't be fair to the UK people that participate in this. I'm just asking for some variety. Sure, do some early rounds, but also throw in a late one here or there.

And I know that is already being done on occasion, but it's just good to give that reminder because, as I said, there is a history of stagnant start times that I'm sure work just swimmingly for some people, but are a real pain for others.

When I was 9 years old, I went to see Beauty and the Beast at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Now I had seen Beauty and the Beast before, so I was excited of course. But I didn't anticipate what would happen at the start of the second act.

When Lumiere came out for "Be Our Guest", I was appropriately excited. It's a great number. But this performance was different. The sheer charisma of the character rippled across the theater. It's so hard to explain how true charisma operates, but you just know it when you feel it. You're drawn to the magnetic personality, the charm, the way a candlestick of all things is moving so smoothly across the stage floor, flocked by pots and pans and gelato and salad... and yet in this moment, I really discovered what acting was, what the magic of Disney and storytelling was. It was phenomenal, and in many ways life-changing for me.

When the number was over, I witnessed the largest standing ovation I've ever seen in my life. For five straight minutes the crowd roared with thunderous cheers. Three times the actress portraying Belle stepped forward to say her line, and three times she was denied. The entire audience had just felt something extremely special that night.

For me, Lumiere has been and will always be my favorite Disney character because of this. Because I witnessed something spectacular. Because I changed my entire perception of storytelling. Because one night in Washington, a candlestick sang for me.
