Yeah it's a pretty good game especially if you liked the other HD remaster.

Definitely worth 8 bucks.

Yeah the plot in general is weird (especially the villain, like you said) and I don't really care for the things it adds to the overall story.

Still a good game though.

I'm a fan of the pre RE4 formula (still adored 4, though). There's no way I can't like it, right?!

If you liked REmake then it's a lot like it, but it's nothing special.

People keep saying the villain is weird but the male lead is weird too.

Rebecca isn't weird but if you play Zero and then play the original RE it's hilarious how pathetic she becomes

I swear there's a scene where Rebecca is like "Did you really murder all those people!? I won't judge you!" which is a a cheesy stupid line for a cop even by RE standards and he just goes "Does it matter?" or something

I was holding out hope that the ending would be that he really was a killer and just lied to Rebecca. It would make so much more sense.

Do what I do, think about what else you'd be likely to spend $8 on if you don't buy RE, and compare it to that. For example: say that $8 would get spent at a restaurant, whereas if you buy RE0 you'd probably cook a meal at home instead to make up for it. Then ask yourself: would I rather have the ability to go out to eat once, or the ability to play RE0.
