They're crutches. Either a one shot body shot, or a semi-auto two shot body shot, with perfect accuracy. The scout is enough for snipers, if you can't get a headshot you shouldn't be able to deny a whole area reliably.

I honestly think AWP does suck as well. It can literally turn the tide of battle if it falls in a skilled sniper. Call it unbalanced or just plain gameplay factor you have to accept, those who love it will continue defending it and tell off complainers with stupid slurs like ''get good'', ''noob haha''

Every gun in CSGO has a weakness. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the auto but the AWP is one of the most strategic guns in any FPS ever made.

If you want them removed from the game completely then you can't deal with them.

For more than 15 years it's been the most balanced competitive game out there, then some random guy comes and says X should be removed.

What happens when you save up for AWP for 2-3 rounds, miss the shot and die?
What about those amazing items that cost 200 and 300$ respectively and blind you or obscure your vision?

You must be a silver or gold nova.

When you're playing at a high level you can defeat AWP with team strats, smokes, flashes etc. AWP gets one shot. Good CSGO players can headshot you from pit to a site on dust 2 no problem. One missed shot and you're toast. Especially if you're playing well with your team.

I think the AWP is fine the way it is on competitive mode. It can fuck right off in casual though

I already explained it. One shot body shot sniper is not balanced by any stretch of the imagination.

Glad I'm no longer playing counterstrike, looking at the salty replies TC is getting from the players.
