Welcome to Most Excellent Fictional Character Contest, where Board 8 decides the best overall fictional character ever created. Characters from every medium, far and wide are in this contest. To see the results, please visit this link:
https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/75350067#15 At the end of every offical round there will be a Wildcard phase where characters with tough groupings will get a chance at redemption. The elimination rate is higher and it is tough to get by, but winners will be rewarded by moving on to the next round. The rules will always be similar to the actual round, but slightly altered. Preliminary Wildcard Rules: - Users are given one pool of 15 characters. They may place ANY AMOUNT of characters in ANY CATEGORY of their choice, however there must be AT LEAST ONE character in each category. All 15 characters must be placed somewhere. Categories are assigned point values for scoring. - Characters do not have to be in any specific order at all within categories. All characters in the same pool will receive the same amount of points. - Highest 6 scores in a grouping move on. Lowest 9 scores fail to make it past the prelims and are eliminated automatically. - Rounds last 24 hours - Tiebreakers will be decided by most +20's or least -10's.
