they can't be too smart considering there's an entire planet of them and they haven't discovered the Super Saiyan form...a technique Cabba mastered after some light taunting from Vegeta

only makes sense if Cabba is like the only Saiyan at that power level and Caulifla and Kale are above him

he's over one hundred dude, he's seen countless threats to his planet and life before and he simply couldn't do anything about it.

I'm glad they're bringing more side characters into the action but the "secret training" explanation is dogshit and everyone knows it.

besides Demon King Picollo and his brother there wasn't much reason to get stronger

why would he not get stronger when Tien and Yamcha did?

those got stronger because they trained, unlike roshi. They didn't get any relevant strength either though. Also roshi was way past his prime, he was outmatched by pretty much everyone by the end of DB.

I'm starting to wonder if old school japanese dragon ball z fans complained about just how much sheer bullshit was going on in the namek saga way back in the day when it was brand new in the manga. Goku went from arriving on namek at like what, 150k or something like that power level, ending at him overpowering freiza at like, 150 million as a ssj or something like that, =/ Damn near everyone, gohan, piccolo (I mean come on, this dude died barely putting a scratch on nappa, meditates a bit in the after life, fuses with a namekian that couldn't even scratch 1st form freiza, and all the sudden he jumps over a mill to smack around 2nd form freiza for abit?), and vegeta was all over the place with power levels that saga, lol.

I guess since I was about 18 or so when dbz was airing on toonami in NA that I do not have as much nostalgia for it compared to younger dbz fans that grew up and have fond memories for it, but seriously though, dragon ball as a series has always not made much sense with the power scalings, plot, or whatever......it was just entertaining seeing people punch each other in the face in my humble opinion, lmao.

I didn't say he couldn't get stronger, just that he couldn't get RELEVANTLY stronger when he hasn't in the past, specially when world ending threats have always existed and he has always been irrelevant. It's inconsistent. Just say you don't care about inconsistencies, don't try to argue out of the shithole super digs for itself.
