Like, some of my favorite games are from the PS2/GC/Xbox era. There are some seriously damn good games from that time period.
But honestly, the controls for most of them are atrocious. It's really jarring to go from the buttery smooth goodness of modern day controls to an older game that's been ported to a newer system. It's crazy how much worse it feels going back to a PS2 remaster and how bad it controls. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I kinda agree. You can get used to them but it's awkward

They were a huge improvement from the N64/PSX days. That's all that mattered at the time.
