Texas Republican Matt Rinaldi said he called on ICE on protestors at the state capital and then threatned to SHOOT a DEMOCRAT in the head during the chatoic scene!!

He claimed he only threatened to kill him because Democrat Poncho Nevarez threatened his own life before that!!

Hundreds of protestors gathered in the gallery to protest Senate Bill 4, aimed at sanctuary cities as they held signs and chanted to the lawmakers not to support it

They chanted for 20 minutes as officers led them out peaceful but tensions were sitll high.

Ramon Romero Jr, a Democrat said he was standing with fellow Democratic Rep. Cesar Blanco when Rinaldi came over and said "This is BS. That's why i called ICE"

Rinaldi and Blanco shouted at each other as a scuffled ensued but they were eventually separated.

Rinaldi admitted to saying he'd call the feds and threatened to shoot Nevarez but said his life was in "danger" and not the other way around and said "Today, Rep. Poncho Nevarez threatned my life on the HOuse floor after i called ICE on seeral illegal immigrants who held signs in the gallery which said "I am illegal and here to stay. Several Democrats encouraged the protesters to disobey law enforcement. When i told the Democrats i called ICE, Representative Ramon Romero physically assaulted me and other Democrats were held back by colleagues. During that time, Poncho told me that he would get me on the way out my car."

The protest was organized by activists on Memorial Day weekend as they informed anxious immigrants about the rights they retain despite the law and urged grassrots resistance against it.

The pill was a crackdown on Austin and other "sanctuary cities" that allowed police to inquire about a person's immigration status during routine interactions such as traffic stops..
