Rogers then added that such SIGINT exists, and it is damning. He stated, “There is no question that we [meaning NSA] have evidence of election involvement and questionable contacts with the Russians.” Although Rogers did not cite the specific intelligence he was referring to, agency officials with direct knowledge have informed me that DIRNSA was obviously referring to a series of SIGINT reports from 2016 based on intercepts of communications between known Russian intelligence officials and key members of Trump’s campaign, in which they discussed methods of damaging Hillary Clinton.

Flip her over and hit the weak spot for massive damage. Everyone knows this.

I do, yeah.

The timing of the largest bombshells suggests a very deliberate campaign to demoralize Trump and prevent him from gaining any significant momentum on his agenda.
It is no coincidence that WaPo and NYT keep dropping bombs between 5 and 7pm, at the end of the workday just as the Press office would normally be wrapping up their work for the day. They don't have time to spin it before it hits the evening news, and spend their entire day putting out yesterday's fire and in constant dread for what shoe will drop on their heads today.
There has been a constant pattern of articles revealing a small piece of info, WH issues a denial, only to have their attempted spin get shot down hours later by a followup article. Additionally, once a story has been broken you see a dozen other outlets quickly confirming the story independently. Unlike with Watergate, WH can't claim it is only WaPo making it all up.

The Press, FBI/NSA/CIA, and Judiciary system are the only functioning checks on the government right now.

Nothing new, we have known that member's of Trump's campaign had contacts with Russian people.

We just don't know the details.

the article says "NSA Chief Admits Donald Trump Colluded with Russia"

but he doesn't say Donald Trump he just mentions the campaign.

I wish they would release details so we could know to what extent.

Well at least now we know that they were in contact rather than attempted contacts. It still doesn't prove collaboration. Hopefully the Trump team tries to obstruct and delay so that this hinderance on his disastrous agenda continues.

An interesting note, the author of this article is a known conservative and was lauded by them in the past. He legitimately was an NSA analyst, so it's likely he does have contacts within the agency still

Here's the National Review (a very conservative media outlet) praising him

Nothing will happen.

a dude LITERALLY voted to take away their health care and body slammed a reporter and he still won the MT elections. The electorate identifies with thugs and bigots, they don't mind getting things taken away from them as long as the guy they're voting for stands for something they like.

We're fucked

Sure there will. Like someone mentioned above, the functioning arms of the government continue to build the case. While the legislative branch might be showing loyalty to the party of the WH, it's only a matter of time before enough has compiled that they risk their own livelihoods by continuing to entertain the farce.

The whole Nixon ordeal went on over a period of years. It's possible a nidus will occur prior to the next Congressional elections, or otherwise closer toward the end of the term/start of the next campaign.

It's just that in today's world of instant gratification, that seems like an eternity.

On the contrary, if you look at margins, Montana was a victory for Democrats. Trump took Montana by 20+, Gianforte was expected 10+ easily, squeaked by with a small margin. Kansas was a much tighter race than it had any right to be, and Ossof appears to be leading in Georgia polls. We're quite possibly seeing the pendulum swing thanks to our incompetent president.

It's convenient to discredit literally every institution and the notion of checks and balances in the name of partisanship, eh?

The likelihood that one or two institutions are inept at best or nefarious at worst is possible. The likelihood that almost every institution of the government and public, sans the majority party in Congress known for party over country is a bit much.

It's like you didn't pay attention in school to the fact that the probability of an outcome is the product of all events.
