Withdrawing from society is a choice. You also have the right to tell anyone who insults you to go fuck themselves. This is coming from an outsider who had to learn to play nice to enjoy the benefits.

I just prefer drinking socially, as it makes me way more talkative and involved, which would be wasted staying by myself. It's just more fun with others. Also getting drunk and watching TV/playing games makes me kinda sick to my stomach. I prefer weed if I'm by myself, since it has a more introspective effect on me.
