And the lack of private matches at launch even if I don't use it much is questionable. The raids are fun, a couple of the strikes are fun, because they involve more than walk down hallway and shoot man. Put fucking something interesting in the missions. Every expansion in the first one was cookie cutter, few new missions, couple new strikes, new raid. They just swapped out the enemy/boss character and that was really it. The price of the content kept increasing more and more too, because of course they know that people will pay any amount of money. Every time it was just a sort of monotonous grind to the next highest light level, grinding and hoping the RNG would reward you with whatever weapons/armour you wanted, etc. It's not really fun beyond playing through everything for the first time. Yet for some reason, I ended up sinking more time into Destiny than probably any other game this gen that wasn't Fallout. I don't game that much anymore, so that's pretty weird for me. Maybe it's comparable to someone with a VLT addiction, haha. Nobody you see in a casino ever looks happy. They just sit there like zombies putting more money in and hitting the button over and over again. Edit: So while I'm not really excited for Destiny 2 persay and haven't kept up much with the info releases and videos, I'll still end up getting it on launch day and playing the fuck out of it. I'm not even sure why, it has a certain charm about it that sort of makes it appealing for some reason. Destiny 1 had its faults, quite a few to being with But the one thing it did well was the power fantasy and the shooting mechanics those are how I put 2000 hours in it.
