With everything thays been said and reviled in the last week, do you think anything will happen?

Also just to explain, a president can be impeached but not removed from office. I.E. Bill Clinton is an example of this.

Neither. As much as I'd like to see him go the GOP has a majority and they'll never impeach him. Dems aren't going to gain a majority in 2018 either because incumbents rarely lose. It's unfortunate but it's very likely going to be our reality.

I'm still pretty unconvinced that he's going to leave the office at all.

But if it comes down to it, he will never, ever, ever resign. If he's impeached, I'm pretty sure the Secret Service will have to physically remove him from the White House.

However

Remember back in 2012 when everyone assumed it would either be Biden/Jeb! or Clinton/Jeb! ?

No one saw Trump coming, no one saw Sanders coming, no one saw the populism wave coming.

Four years is a long time. Anything can happen.

Yes, incumbents often get reelected. We've never really seen an incumbent like Trump though.

i suppose i havent been paying proper attention. all of a sudden among the very first words the internet had for me when it came to meet was "impeachment." right now im at; the guy fires the guy who was a thick root at the beginning of an investigation into him. what am i missing?

Assassinated. In all seriousness, I hope he serves his full term so that he can damage the Republican party as much as possible. Now, if only there was a way to keep that pinko commie Bernie Sanders from being nominated by the Democratic party...maybe we'll actually get a good president starting in 2021.

Trump/his campaign are being investigated for collusion with Russia.

Trump fired the Director of the FBI James Comey (who was leading the investigation). He later stated he fired him because of the investigation.

The other day the Deputy AG appointed a special counsel to oversee the investigation. The special counsel is a guy named Robert Mueller (another former FBI Director). He was Comey's mentor and boss.

The special counsel exists outside the hierarchy of the executive, can set their own budget, and press charges if wrongdoing is discovered.

Some people are alleging that Trump's firing of Comey and his subsequent admittance that he did it to stall/end the investigation into his administration is obstruction of justice.

Also allegedly as of yesterday the investigation into the administration is now a criminal investigation. So wrongdoing has likely been discovered.

I think that ice cream scandal will be the final nail in his coffin. I mean, come on. TWO scoops?

neither. I don't see him making getting another election though. He's just way too much of a novice when it comes actually getting things done when working within the system. Stepped on too many toes, burned too many bridges
if things keep up like this with a weekly crisis, i wouldn't be surprised if republicans look to do something about him, like cutting off a gangrenous limb to save the body

also like said when he named bannon to the NSC, i wouldn't be surprised if someone from an intelligence community takes a shot at him.

This will never happen.

His ego is so huge he will never just willingly give up the Presidency. If anything they could have overwhelming evidence of him having committed multiple felonies and in court he'll just say it's fake news Democrats are still mad because they lost the election.

I think its already too much for him and he wants out right now, he could save face and easily spin his exit and possibly avoid a worse outcome. If hes hiding something really bad it will come out eventually.
