I'm a dirty Marth fan from smash so I like SD but many people say it sucks. It's an ok game but it's basically just ported straight from the 1990 NES fire emblem. Fates came or last year and consists of 3 paths- Conquest, Birthright, and revelations. Conquest is the "hard" one, birthright is the "easy" one, and revelation is the third route that you play with all characters in fates. Shadows of Valentia just came out today so it's hard to say but it's alright.
