how is the show now?

i binged most of the first season until a certain episode/plot moment irritated me. i felt like the show was signaling that it was going to tread water plot wise forever

sorry for COMPLAINING. what i saw was an enjoyable experience, i just need to be in the right mood

keep in mind that iZombie is still at its heart a procedural/baddie of the week type of show, so if you're looking for something with more plot, you would probably be well-served looking elsewhere. iZombie is in a pretty good place now, though. while I agree with what are likely your complaints of season 1 (though I never found myself irritated by any of it), the show has come around on nearly all levels, with good-to-great weekly episodes, solid character arcs, good side characters. it does everything it needs to well. I don't think a procedural has been this good since The Good Wife.
