But the link though.. He got fired for not shooting a suicidal man and letting him do the job himself or something? Like what the hell? (but I'll assume he was supposed to shoot him in a non lethal body part or something, and not shoot to kill?) --- PONG WAS REAL? I thought that was just a story parents told kids to scare them ... Basically, the life of an officer is so highly valued that anything that might endanger one is a crime. Even if that person putting them at risk is the officer in question.

I think I remember this incident. he was a good cop, but everyone else on his force are gung ho idiots. So he tries to save the man's life....and then his partner or whatever blows the man away. didn't expect them to then fire him. I mean why does it matter? they still got their blood lust satisfied anyway. why fire him? the guy still died, just like a few minutes later than planned
