I mean if you're trying to build your own gaming laptop I think you'll run into problems with cooling. I have no idea how to fix that problem, and haven't ever used a gaming laptop to be able to say how it's fixed.

Dude a 1080 will last at least 5 years. Probably 10 if you don't mind having stuff on a lower setting later on.

If you're getting a prefab laptop I'm not sure why you need to ask. Just go with one of the more expensive ones.

They sell gaming laptops with desktop graphics cards now. Anyways TC have you considered maybe getting a Razer Blade laptop and just buying the external GPU dock?
