This. It's not only pathetic, but extremely frustrating from a middle-ground perspective. If you criticize an aspect of one side, they'll jump to calling you a supporter of the other side. You see one side criticize the other for using a certain line of reasoning, then turn to using it when it benefits them.

No one actually seems to be interested in co-operation or reaching a compromise. It's actually kind of satisfying to watch them both fail instead.

How am I "spinning so hard"? I've only made three posts in this topic. In one post, I voiced my amusement at the typical and expected doomsday breaking news coverage CNN was giving. The other, I mentioned Trump wasn't elected to be a "normal" President and essentially that these sort of moves are/were to be expected.

And the third post, asking a user what (apparently) righteous, smart, knowledgeable general population zi was referring to.
