The girl was like "why dont we do something fun like the zoo or sea world"

San Diego Zoo is like 50 bucks per adult. If i commit to the zoo or something i'm not going to cheap out once im there.

My first date with my wife cost nothing. Well, about $3 for the bottles of water and chocolate toast we bought and shared. Drove my bike up Doi Suthep to a view point and just sat there all night talking while looking out over the city.

Was the best first date I've ever had and it was so simple.

I went on a first date with a girl today. We went to an event that was happening nearby (for free!), then grabbed a coffee. She paid for hers before I could even offer. Then we browsed around a bookstore. She said she had fun and hopes to see me again soon.

I was bored by the time I finished my coffee and don't intend to follow up lol. But the point is there are girls out there who don't want to do crazy shit. So buck up and keep looking.

my last gf our first date was ice cream and a walk on the beach. We talked and talked for hours and the beach has a portion thats a dog beach and we played with dogs and puppies for like an hour.

It was great and probably costs me like 20 bucks. We were together for years too

She's not interested in you, she's interested in what you can provide. That's why she wants you pay for her to look at animals, rather than go to dinner where you have to have a one-on-one conversation and actually make a connection like two human beings.

The zoo sounds fun as shit. And $300? Are zoos free or real cheap to get in. So instead of going to a bar and getting drunk and having no time to connect, she wants to do an outdoor activity with you where there's plenty of time to talk, connect, laugh, get close. And that's a problem?

The zoo is not a bad second or third date spot, since it's the same price as a dinner would be. Plus, you can do it during the day and double book a second date for that night. But I wouldn't do it on a first date.
