Lousy Gaben, you keep peddling me early access trash and waifu simulators, but your suggestions never touched this crowning jewel of combat racing

Looks like it's a no frills direct port of the original, but a 68 Camaro doesn't start sucking just because it doesn't look and handle like the 2017 Z1

Whoa, talk about a blast from the past. How did the 2nd one compare to the first? I remember having a great time playing the first game on the N64. I always appreciate these companies that try to keep old games alive on new hardware.

I remember it basically being like the first game but better. At least they pointed out there's riders in those things.

it's a shame I have no clue how much it's going to cost, but my wild guess is between $10-15

Meh, I'll stick to my N64 cart if the frame rate is anywhere under 26fps.

Looking through the discussions on Steam and they basically say it'll be in the original resolutions? Like 800x600, considering it's a PC port from '98? It was kind of a roundabout answer in which a dev said they don't have any of the assets for improving, so they're just porting it. I couldn't imagine them charging more than $10 for it.

yeah, that would make more sense

kinda makes me wonder why they picked that game and not the first one

also, there was a PS2 era Extreme-G game that will likely be harder to get the rights for since it had licensed music

A dev said in one of the topics that there was already a PC release of 2, so it was probably easier to start from that to get it working and sellable.

"It's as Chizu said, XG2 is one with a PC port already so it's a relatively easy enough port over to Steam.

We cannot promise being able to bring other Extreme-G titles over, but we will undoubtedly try as we know they are fan favourites!"

Whoa I had no idea Extreme-G 2 was on PC already. Never played 2. I played the first on my N64 a lot, but honestly don't remember it too fondly.
