Does anyone here have one? I'd mostly just be using it for work and back. I don't do much traveling. Trying to decide if it'd be a good choice.

My friend has one and the interior is so nice... wood paneling!

How about you stop and think for a moment why would you spend an entire year worth of salary and work for a car that you don't need. Cars are money sinks, they don't earn value. And I don't believe that a Taurus is any more fun to drive than a smaller, cheaper car.

I do like how smaller cars get good gas mileage and everything, I just want something roomier. Right now I've got a Yaris and my legs are so cramped in it. D:

I'm in a 2015 Sentra and I fully regret it. Not because of some outstanding issue, but the legroom just isn't there for me. I'm debating either the new Altima or Fusion(or whatever equivalent in the Toyota/Honda brands). Something midsized to retain some sort of fuel economy but get back the legroom I desperately need.

Chrysler makes some oversized boat sedans that could be interesting, although Chrysler has got expensive in recent years.

My 2015 large domestic ranking went as follows:

Chevy SS >>>Cadillac CTS >>> Dodge Charger R/T >>>>>>>>>> Ford Taurus SHO > Lincoln MKS

so I bought the chevy.

the Taurus isn't a car I would save up for personally.

Actually, after looking at the mazda 6 someone mentioned, I think the mazda 3 might be more my style. The mazda 6 is very nice, but I think it's too sporty for me.

But yea, the infiniti's seem to be too much. Looks like they start at 30,000 practically.

What's sporty about it? It has like 185 hp and is FWD. I'd consider a 6 over a 3 if space is important to you.

I'll have to take a better look at it then. I just took a glance at it and assumed it was the sporty model compared to the 3. I'm just going to be using it as a work car so I thought the 6 would be overkill.

Is there anyway to get all wheel drive on the 6 though?

The 6 is FWD only. If anything, the 3 might be more fun to drive since it's lighter and you can spec it with the same 2.5 liter engine.

Since you were initially looking at full size cars, a 6 might be more appropriate since it's bigger.

Just a shame since I really do like the style of a lot of ford cars. But not worth the risk on such a big investment.
