I wouldn't need to say anything. Maybe advise her to invest much of her money since the career is the opposite of most careers, where you earn more as you get older. I might even offer to help her with that part of it if she wanted.

But my daughter would probably be wise about enough of this already.

However if my son grew up and scammed people out of their money and commit fraud, I wouldn't be very happy with him to say the least.

Well first off I said I wouldn't disown them, so let's get that out the way.

My not wanting my kid to do porn more comes from I know how people treat porn stars, how hard it can be to get work afterward when you quit, and just that I don't want to come across it. Not in a "porn is bad" kind of way...just I don't want to come across my kid's scenes. You can be okay with your kid having sex, but you don't want to see it. You shouldn't want to lol. That'd be weird af.

The crime shows was just an example of entertainment that I enjoy, but I wouldn't want it to happen. There's negatives of being a porn star, even if there's nothing wrong with it. I don't consider porn stars to be inferior to anyone.

I mainly stream amateur stuff that's uploaded by the participants themselves. Have I gotten free shit? Everybody has. Not gonna name places obviously, but I've bought stuff, too. I have a subscription to HBO Now and Amazon Prime. Both have Sopranos.

That is one of the dumbest things I've read all week. That's beyond a false equivalency. If your son went on to do that he would be hurting people and commiting an act which has a victim or victims. Whereas (legal) pornography has no victim or anything. If consenting adults are mutually deciding to fuck each other on camera for money who is being harmed?

The equivalency you're making is the same thing as me saying "hey I just watched Saw, a fictional movie where nobody was harmed in any way, and enjoyed it, but just so you know I'm not okay with people being abducted, tortured, and brutally murdered" like no shit nobody would assume you do just because you watched a movie...
However if all you did was talk about how murder and violence is wrong and then one day the police raided your house and found that you had a shelf full of snuff films and videos of people being forced gladiator style to fight each other in order to survive, morality of those acts aside you'd still be a hypocritical piece of shit wouldn't you?

Know why people in porn can't work elsewhere? Because it gets stigmatized. The fact people will disown their kids gets ingrained into that societal anti-sex stigma. And so even people who like watching porn refuse to treat porn entertainers as full fledged humans. This is why they can't get a job afterwards. Not because they're in porn. It's because of how society views porn as something awful and those in it as being used and selling their bodies. Hypocrisy as they don't consider a person giving up their physical health working hard labor to be selling their body, even though there's no way they can work that hard labor for many years.
