The story was quite lacking, but the gameplay and just about everything else makes up for it.

That was an enjoyable return to Skyrim for me. I was really impressed with the amount of work they did overall and man, it just made me wish Skyrim had a bit more varied magic like that. How did you feel about the plot being so dang similar to Mass Effect and the reapers? As it kept going I was like 'surely they're going to do something different to get away from being so blatantly samey' but it never really did. The two companions were cuties tho.

Believe it or not, the similarities to Mass Effect went right over my head until around the end.

Overall I liked the game. The difficulty was way higher than what I'm used to. I don't mind if I go down in a few hits, so long as the same rules apply to my enemies.

When all is said and done though, I loved the writing in the game. Though the plot is overall quite simple to the Mass Effect Trilogy, I liked the twist that The High Ones can't act in the physical world, and just manipulate mortals into causing The Cleansing. Also really loved the way Tealor's arc progresses.

And the twist that the MC a magical construction to fulfill some nobody's dying wish to be worth something.

It's good, but yeah there's a few issues.

Steep looks intriguing. I've been looking for something to scratch the extreme sports game itch that the lack of good Tony Hawk games has left me with.

Life is Strange looks very interesting. I have it on Steam. Been a bit wary of approaching it since I've disliked the last few CYOA games I've played.

Dragon Age is something I've always meant to get into but I always lose interest within the first half hour or so. Maybe I just need to focus. Iunno. I think maybe it's the combat that gets to me?

Save Mary is a 2600 game, lol.

It was never officially released but it's pretty fun. One of the best games for the system. I have it on one of those reproduction systems. I dunno how anyone else would manage to play it. Mostly a joke post.
