Every damn day I gotta commute and if I am lucky the absolute fastest, if I go 10-15 MPH above the speed limit and no traffic, I get to work is 30-32 minutes but most of the time it takes 40-60 minutes depending on the traffic coming and going to work.

Wasn't there some research showing that the longer you commute to work, you're more likely to hate your job? I could definitely see myself hating it if I had to drive an hour each way every day

I recently went from 35 minutes to 10 and...its not much different. I like to listen to my podcasts, so I actually feel like I'm missing out. Same for when I had a job that too an hour to get to; but an hour was a bit much regardless...especially on the 14 hour days.

I work from home. My commute is literally 2 steps. 3 if there's something in the way

My commute is 60 mins every day, I didn't mind it at first because I do like my job a lot but my patience is growing very, very thin as of late.

feels great. takes me 10 minutes to commute to and from work every day.

sometimes I take the extra 10 minutes and take a lovely 20 minute jaunt home through our beautiful foothills on the way home.

As long as you don't experience much traffic I wouldn't bitch. It's not so much the length to get there as much as dealing with other idiots on the road and slowdowns that is annoying.

Long commutes are why god invented podcasts.

I work from home so I live 0 minutes away from home, and whenever I have meetings with clients they pay for the service and for the time it takes me to get to their place additionally.

It's pretty fucking awesome.

It takes me about 12 minutes if there's no traffic. I get mad when it takes me over 20 minutes to get to work. I get out of bed at about 7:50 for my 8:30 start time. I'm typically one of the first to get to the office.
