I really enjoyed BO3 and IW because they made the game faster-paced and eliminated a lot of the issues with camping. Not all, but a lot of them. This return to boots-on-the-ground gameplay could work well if it's still a relatively fast-paced game similar to MW3 or BO2. But if it's a significantly slower game like MW2 or (god forbid) Ghosts was, then I won't even bother. I just don't find those slower games fun. Like, at all. That's why I'm not hyped. The WW2 setting will most likely mean that slower, more tactical, more campy gameplay that I personally don't find to be as fun as the more active run-and-gun of the last few games. No knock on the people who will enjoy the return to boots-on-the-ground.
