Undertale didn't even start knocking off the "heavy hitters" until the very end. Before that, it took out a lot of good games that aren't overhyped as shit in its wake. I don't have particularly positive things to say about either OoT (Kana can certainly confirm this) or FF7 and it annoyed the hell out of me.

I think they should retire any game that's already won the tournament so that you actually get new titles winning every year w/o bs "rallies" for a joke choice or flavor of the month.

which year? unless there was a particularly good year for SJW's or whatever recently i don't see how they could rig this other than picking a completely random year and rallying around it for no reason.

actually nvm, probably just gonna be undertale (2015) or overwatch (2016)

GameFAQs should plan the sabotage and go along with whatever garbage meme game they choose. Then they can raise the votes and keep it contending until the end until GameFAQs stunts the growth of it so much to just make it automatically fail.

Then do the same next year and don't tell anyone, just let them think they made Cory in the House #2.

Well it is best year so you can't really push joke entries like L block or something like undertales as the previous polls did. They do try and change it up a bit with the battles now at least since most have shown to have a distaste to greatest game/character since they do usually end up mostly the same each time.
