It was depressing, despicable and horrific. When a show starts out with the central characters best friend abandoning him in peril, ____ing his wife and stealing his child; I should have none to punch out after a few episodes. :-) And while I've never had the desire to play Call of Duty and other historical games for what I mentioned in the OP, I tend to avoid movies and other entertainment of wars because I don't wish to see fictionalized accounts of things that really happened. I finally watch Platoon and wished I'd never had; thinking that similar things might and/or did happen. I don't wish to see humanity like that. It's too simple to uniquely identify someone. It's like coming across the username "Ironmanite" or something like that more than once and thinking it's the same person.
