Yup.

Just as an aside, it bothered me a lot in American Sniper when the psychiatrist asks Kyle if he feels guilty about the people he killed and he spews out some trite bullshit like "Agh no I don't I just feel guilty about my men I couldn't save"

And it's like no, whether the people you shot were innocent or not, you killed men, women, and children. If that doesn't bother you at least a little you're either an idiot or a psychopath.

Of course it is. A handful of children being accidentally injured by white people is worse to them than thousands of children being tortured, poisoned by chemical weapons, and cooked alive by brown people. No other way to come up with dumb shit like in that Intercept article.
