1. The teleportation ability from the movie "Jumper". You can teleport people and/or objects to anyplace you can think of. Unlike the movie there are no Paladins and your ability cannot be stopped.

2. The ability to shapeshift and look however you want. Be taller, better looking, be a woman, big boobs, whatever. Be a porn star with a secret identity or a celebrity for a day.

3. The ability to control what people want. Make Mark Zuckerberg give you a billion dollars. Make that dream girl you're crushing on fall in love or even out of love with you.

In that movie, the main character was able to teleport exactly into anywhere he wanted. At least that's how I remember it. I know that he definitely teleported right into a bank vault

Pretty sure he needed pictures or a memory of being somewhere before he can go there. Morgan Freeman tracking him down by opening his portals in his own home.

Also, #3 is basically complete control over humanity. Imagine the progress. Why are people picking #2?

3 is mind control, which would get boring because nobody could ever challenge you. With 2, you could still achieve anything that you want but you actually have to work for it which makes it more fun.

1 and 3 are far more exploitable, 3 having the highest potential because people could be compelled to revere you like a god while dedicating resources to preserving/extending your life

humanity is a very applicable tool when unified
scientific developments that people are normally opposed to or keeping secret would be at your full disposal
and at the extremes, you could actually wipe out different sects of humanity that disrupt evolutionary progress

If you shift to give yourself muscles do they actually work or are they just for show? Can you shapeshift damage off of yourself? Do you have to be human?

Do they actually want what you tell them to want or are you just controlling them?


1 You could rebuild your body to be more efficient, stronger and heal certain injuries but you would still age. You could make yourself into an animal but it would be relative to your size.

2 Both, you control what they want, it's not their true will but they don't know otherwise.

The third option was supposed to be control over one person at a time, I thought it might be too OP.

I actually read the book that movie is based on, and in order for the teleportation to work it has to be to a place the guy is familiar with, having either been there or seen it in person.

The whole picture thing, if i remember right, is just the movie trying to explain how he was able to go to so many places without delving into his background as a kid, which was actually pretty dark.

I actually read the book that movie is based on, and in order for the teleportation to work it has to be to a place the guy is familiar with, having either been there or seen it in person.
