It's useful for desserts and stuff like milkshakes, or in batters. And it's good in cereal. But that's really about it.

I can't imagine just chugging straight milk as a standalone drink.

Milk is the best thing to drink for any meal. Unless there are oranges involved.

Acting like it's a weird thing to do. What do you think children drank during grade school?

get rekt lactose intolerants

I'm sad now.

Though lactose-free dairy products do exist, as well as lactase supplements. So, not a complete loss.

milk is the worst form of dairy anyway. cheese is the best and yogurt is pretty good. as far as I know those don't necessarily have lactose depending on the kind I think?

Imagine using water, orange juice, or coca cola to eat your cereal with, imagine that.

Yep. Lactose is a sugar, so if you see a dairy product with zero sugar, it's lactose-free. Quite a number of cheeses are lactose-free because the sugars are burned away.

Yogurt has some good bacteria for the digestive system, which can offset some issues with lactose intolerance... it's not guaranteed, however.

I'm not much of a fan of yogurt and some cheeses, though.

Fucking juice? Or water? Iced tea? Soda (unfortunately)?

Milk doesn't go with savory foods.
