The new trilogy might not recapture lightning in a bottle, but it's still better than the bottle of piss that was the prequel trilogy. Considering where the series was taken in the 1990s and 2000s, the new trilogy is a welcome diversion. Mark Hamill probably never watched the prequel films. In his mind, he's viewing The Force Awakens as a lesser sequel to Return of the Jedi. In my mind, the film is damage control for Attack of the Clones.
And, in that regard, the film got me interested in a series that I more or less disowned a decade and a half ago. ... Copied to Clipboard!
