I said and/or with that as one of the options. Could you actually respond to what I said or talk to someone else? I'm not interested in fighting someone's bias when it affects how well they can read.

Ah, I see the problem here. I apologize for having an opener that can be perceived as misdirected. In fact, I did address the "and/or" dilemma that you mentioned. You proposed two theories, which is demonstrated with the "and/or", and my initial post was to refute the first half of the statement. I did, however, defend the 90% claim in my response post by stating that on many prior polls, CE users have heavily aligned with liberal viewpoints. I did state all of this in my post, but it is clear you did not finish reading it. But I can assume that is because my opener may have thrown you off, so I completely understand, and I do accept responsibility! I will also try to work on my reading skills, I felt that in this case, I responded adequately, but I fear there was some mistake in my interpretation of your statement!

Neither tolerates other opinions very well but liberals don't try to legislate how you live your lives nearly as much as conservatives do

Conservatives (especially religious conservatives) will think you're going to burn in hell, but they'll still put on a smile and extend you hospitality.

Do I really need to pull up a bunch of examples of religious people oppressing people? Passing terrible laws? Ruining people's lives? No I don't, and you know it.

Modern day liberals are much less tolerant than in years past. I have family on both sides of the fence-- the liberals are the ones who talk way more shit against the right wing.

If we could remove the last 20 years of anti-free speech bullshit from the left that would be great.

It's difficult to compare one to the other without resorting to extremes.

Each side can find horrible acts of the opposing party's offenders rather easily. The other side will chant not all ____, but just look at the ____ they're out doing _____, but you never say anything about them!

And then the opposing side copies that form and fills in the blanks with the other side's atrocities, and it just goes back and forth like that until ad hominem attacks join the party.

Definitely liberal, in many conservative countries you can get in trouble for disagreeing with the government or religion.
