attractive, hot or a good looking guy?

and where do you draw the boundaries of it being creepy or weird?

Depends on how it's said, honestly.

A mere compliment is always appreciated, no matter who says it.

It's if unwanted sexual advances start that it starts getting creepy.

Which is pretty rare, in my experience. Mostly a simple "sorry, I'm straight" clears the issue up.

It's a little awkward. I don't get bent out of shape, but I don't think of it as a compliment either. Straight guys, gay guys and women all seem to find different traits attractive, and I'm not concerned with what any other male thinks of me.

compliments are fine unless it starts getting too flirty. it doesn't get uncomfortable just cause someone's gay, but it's true if i'm not attracted to the other person in general. like this one 40 something year old woman kept coming onto me but she wasn't really my type... but she kept getting really aggressive with the flirting and it was really uncomfortable

compliments in general are fine and make me feel good

I've been hit on a few times by guys and always at Barnes & Noble. I have no idea what that says about me or that store for that matter. Never the real feminine type but definitely the uh, obviously catcher type. Is bottom considered crass?
It's kinda flattering I guess, in a way. It doesn't bother me but then again the guys weren't creepy, ugly or old. It's like a compliment. And besides, at least someone's interested. Stay polite, move on the next aisle or to get coffee or find one of my brothers whom I'm almost always there with.

Many straight guys have called me attractive (most of them friends so I even know if I should believe them), but no women :(

Probably because I don't interact with a lot of women

It doesn't really bother me but I've had a gay guy at my first job at Sears that would straight up come on to me even though he knew that I was straight. I honestly could've had him fired for sexual harassment with some of the stuff he would say but I was young (20 years old) and didn't want to bother with it.

He was fun to talk to most of the time but he really needed to tone it back a bit. I don't mind compliments but I don't like being hit on.

At one point I take off my long sleeve work shirt and all I hear from the hallway is him "woooo take it off" i died laughing haha im straight as an arrow but a compliment is always nice no matter who its from.

Creepy. There was this dude back in high school who perved on everybody, gender just didn't matter. Really helps me understand that a woman can, in fact, feel creeped out by what seems to the person speaking as a harmless compliment.

Usually awkward but flattering.

I've been to a few gay bars and it's not uncommon at least it happens much more frequently than I get women at a regular bar. That said I find it awkward when anyone compliments me. Gets me all flustered.

I fucking love it. I occasionally walk in the gay district just so I can get attention from them. I'm also very flirty with the couple of gay buddies I have. I find the flirting part enjoyable because I can separate my emotions and just have fun (flirting with girls usually contains a motive). But unfortunately I did hurt a friend who believed I was going to go further with him.

One could see that as me being confident in my sexuality. An other could see that as me being a narcissist needing attention. Hell, one could think I'm secretly gay. I've been told all three.

I will point out I don't like getting violently groped though.

I've been to gay bars where a dude physically grabbed me and sat me on his lap. I felt very violated.

That is no fun.
