If sexuality and gender is a spectrum/fluid then doesnt that imply that some form of conversion therapy is possible?

Maybe not the ones currently used, like pray the gay away. But in the future one can be developed?

Some of the loudest activists like this clown Riley Dennis ( https://www.youtube.com/user/JustinDennisYT/videos ), already pushes the idea that:
-genital preferences are transphobic
-preferences for attraction is discriminatory and that people should be open to dating anyone
-biological sex is a social construct.

And that is just a few of them.

If thats the case then doesnt it imply that people can ultimately change what/who they are attracted to? Like Riley says in this video

Figuring out your identity for yourself =/= Being converted by someone else.

Also, the idea that genital preference is transphobic is fucking stupid. I'll gladly date a transwoman, but if she hasn't had bottom surgery, I just can't do it. I imagine it's similar for anyone willing to date a transman, but isn't sexually attracted to a vagina.

Some women have penises and some men have vaginas. That's perfectly fine, but it doesn't mean I have to fuck you.

Sexuality and gender being a spectrum does not automatically mean individuals can be moved around on that spectrum.

That's both right and wrong at the same time, but I don't fully understand why.

This

I'm tired of this forced nonsense. If you are trans, just date people who like that. Stop trying to convert the rest of us who prefer natural born women

Is it the "some women have penises..." part? I accept someone as the gender they identify with/present as. That's just all it is for me. If my friend "Jessica" came up to me one day and told me that she identified as a man and wanted to be called "Justin," I would just go with it and call him a him from then on. It's like a friend asking to be called by their middle name instead of their first. It's that simple to me.

If it's the "I don't have to fuck you part," I personally believe that you can't control what/who you're attracted to (and this includes genitalia). Personally, I tried to convince myself for years that I was sexually attracted to men (mostly out of a superficial appreciation for them). Well, no surprise here, but I'm not. I cannot make myself be sexually attracted to a penis. It doesn't matter if it's attached to an absolutely gorgeous, 10/10 girl of my dreams.

tl;dr: What it ultimately means is that I will respect your identity, but that doesn't mean you get to disrespect my identity (meaning: sexuality, in this case being unattracted to penises). You wouldn't tell a lesbian that she has to like penis-in-vagina sex. Why should you force a man to like another penis?
