Some scraps, been busy...still not what I want yet.




Definitely want to do an action pose, but I can't get it right.and I don't want to look up one because for contest states I consider that cheating. First one looked a lot better in pencil..I'm working with a sharpie right now since I need to order ink for my other pens. Definitely want the lines the swirl, but I don't know if that's me being bi-polar.

Last try for the night.

Still having issues wear to cut off the pose, instead of spelling out Venom I played with the idea of the bat symbol like you would see in the back of a Batman comic. Maybe he's trying to fight it?



I kinda like pencils..so unrefined. I lose a lot of the expression when I try to ink it. Best use of the swirl so far <_<.

Good base drawing makes inking a lot better, but I used way too soft of a lead. I'll finish it tomorrow I have a bad headache.

Also make a poll (don't include mine) and I'll put up a $15 PayPal or Amazon card for the winner. Thines is so damn good though..

There's some artists I still want to see.

I do think it's pretty unfair that I have digital media at my disposal while everyone else is going traditional. Next time I think I'll go traditional.

But in case anyone's wondering, I used FireAlpaca (it's free) and a bamboo tablet (60-80$ ?).

I do think it's pretty unfair that I have digital media at my disposal while everyone else is going traditional. Next time I think I'll go traditional.

But in case anyone's wondering, I used FireAlpaca (it's free) and a bamboo tablet (60-80$ ?).

I have one, I just haven't learned digital yet..

It's a basic model though..I think it has pressure sensitivity and gesture controls.

I just hate doing it because I can do a figure sketch really easily on paper, but it takes me like an hour + to get the most basic thing down. I guess some of that is practice with the tablet.

The only thing that really entices me is an unlimited color palette.

I wish I spent more time on it in general, but I have a real problem with keeping for any one thing for too long when it comes to sticking with any particular drawing, like my mind and interest usually already leaps to the next subject matter.

I'm sorry that the other topic got purged already, I thought it was still up and waiting while people were posting their drawings and working on them.

Thanks. You should grab some pigma microns or pitt pens sometime and play around, the ink dries fast and they last forever. I buy new pens like every few months, which is about 10 drawings worth on an 11x14" sketchbook.
