No it definitely isn't, i'm enjoying it also. I think it takes a lot of strong elements from all the games except the story and dialog is less interesting.

It deserves the negative feedback and the average rating of 7/10.

There's a good game hiding underneath the numerous issues the game constantly throws at you. There are so many baffling design decisions with the game.

Andromeda is fantastic, and the new patch has squashed the negative issues people were parroting ad nauseaum.

But I only have 85 hours in game, so the people shilling against the game who have little to zero time with it probably have a more insightful opinion than I do.

DA:I was a solid game to me, although i do agree that the GOTY it won was a joke.


In a year with Dark Souls 2, Stick of truth, and hell even Destiny.

I still think Last of Us should have won again for the remastered

Doesn't look like they fixed the crappy save system when doing missions or kett bases.

A lot of the issues I have with the game (crafting system, boring/wonky open world gameplay, awkward writing and dialogue) will probably never be improved either.

Unfortunately the game has so many damn issues at launch a lot of it got overshadowed by the facial animations. But the buck certainly doesn't stop there. At least they've started fixing some of them like the ship animations and inventory limits.

Its very similar. I dont think the change has been too radical. I was able to jump in and feel comfortable.

Overall i think they are moving in the right direction. I'm not too deep into the game yet so im still holding judgements on an overall opinion but i've liked it so far

Speak to Addison or choose a flirty line and you'll see it eventually. A lot of stuff in the Nexus and the hubs are bad. No idea why they don't have music for these locations as well. Music in general seems pretty absent.

Inquisition didn't have the moronic save system either. Makes Hardcore a pain to play sometimes.

It's not a total trash game but it's a total 7/10 game. The only reason I'm playing it is because I'm a huge fan of the franchise and I like the game when it's linear.

I put 95 hours into the game. Addison was an anomaly to me, not the average. The story isn't ME1, but it thankfully also isn't ME3. By and large, I cannot differentiate this game from the others through dialogue, taking some tone changes into account. I actually love the awkward flirty lines in this game. They seem intentional.

I finished the game and I can say the companions grew on me (except Peebee because fuck Peebee), especially Drack, Vetra, and Jaal

They also have loyalty missions and a ton of development for a single game. It's really hard to not like some of the companions by the end of the game unless you literally don't ever talk to them.

Its ok, its literally the typical mass effect story.

but i started to really like the companions. They are all pretty likeable even PeeBee.

Drack is my dude. If you were on the fence about picking it up i'd say its worth it. The planets feel like planets. Each one is open and unique. I also think that despite the negative feedback on the writing i think it's better than DA:I.

The story is lacking just a tad though but i would agree its like a 7/10 to maybe an 8/10 game. Its definitely better than the people who havent played the game are saying it is.

Plus it looks amazing.
