NightMare, I've honestly completely abandoned comp at this point, it's not worth the stress. I pretty much only do my placements, then go back to quickplay. Honestly, play the game the way you want to, don't worry about getting better if you haven't improved after a year, just have fun.

I tried playing comp yesterday but it's impossible ever since I de-ranked to gold. What am I supposed to do when the picks in order are Genji, Soldier 76, Tracer, Roadhog, and Hanzo? 2 flankers and a Hanzo that's nowhere to be seen means I died nonstop trying to heal. They just don't understand team composition at all. All I want to do is get back to platinum at this point for the purple point things.

Finally finished my placements, one match after that and got diamond. Now time to never play comp for the rest of the season.

Are you referring to earlier today when you tried to join? I just left because I'd been playing for a while and wanted to stop and also we lost that match bad and I was angry. Sometimes I just leave because of that.

I'm sharing wireless internet with five other people, so it's bad if other people are using it.

This weekend is good though because it's Easter so a lot of people are away which means I can play mostly without issues.

No, I rent a room in a house dedicated to university students. I'm also living in the basement so that might have something to do with it.

I'm actually just guessing why it's bad, but it seems reasonable. Normally if I play late at night (1 or 2 AM) it's fine, or if I play mid day when everyone is gone. But playing evenings can sometimes be rough, and that's normally the only time I have to play.

Oh cool, when I was in college I did that as well.

I'm guessing you've already tried, or it isn't feasible, but have you tried a wired connection?

I don't think it's really practical, given the size of the house and location of the router. I haven't really looked into it.

Why do people want terry crews so much to voice doom fist? I mean, yeah he is awesome and seems like a cool guy, but it seems like many people automatically assumed he would voice doomfist. I don't get it

It really comes down to him being an actor who pokes fun at the big scary black man stereotype, which kind of fits a lot of Overwatch's exaggerated character archetypes.

Or at least I think that's what he does, I'll admit I'm not super familiar with his work.

Past couple of days over 10 boxes, and the only Legendary from them was a Duplicate, I think my paranoia is acting up again, but eh, 7,000 coins due to duplicate priorities, LOL.....

Also, On uprising, people really don't know how to stay on the point do they?, I'm usually the only one on it....

True, but you need at least one person on the thing for it to hack I believe, at the least, they could have two people on the point while the other two rush out to fight the enemies, so 3 people aren't just leaving the 4th to die........especially if that 4th person is say, a Zenyatta, your healer that controls whether you get healed or not.....Well, unless your Soldier, Reaper, or anyone else with self healing....

I've been stupid lucky with my boxes. Only event skins I'm missing(I believe) are Tracer, one of Torb's and Widowmaker. I think I have both intros and I know I have the Soldier emote and a couple of the victory poses.

Got Tracer's skin, because somehow I literally always get Tracer's event skin (and she always has one). Got the decked out achievement with it too, cause I get so much Tracer shit.

Had a pretty great game as McCree, we had 4 DPS, a Lucio and a Roadhog so I wasn't expecting much, but I think I got triple golds and PotG. The Play was pretty funny, because their Mercy had just pulled off a rez so I High Nooned and triple killed, but her rez also got the Symmetra behind me who I'd just killed, so she microwaved me as I killed her team. Made me look pretty bad.

PotG where you die in stupid ways is the best. The sooner you die the better, which makes the Torb ones the best because you get to stare at his dead body and watch the points rack up.

Hmm, I don't know what happened but Overwatch is running choppy for me. It only started happening today after I got the patch. I also can't even record Highlights with OBS anymore cause it makes me drop FPS like crazy.

One thing about Tracer's new skin is that her guns have three bright bars on the back, but they aren't indicative of blink charges. They look like something that should change whenever she blinks (you lose one bar, and then it comes back up), similar to the missle indicator on Soldier's rifle. I wonder if they were maybe planned to drop and regen, but then didn't for some reason? Like maybe it was deemed too distracting. IDK. Just thought it was interesting.

Earned a few boxes, opened all 7, Got Mercy's Skin, Legendary Gold in the next, and a Legendary Ana Skin in the one after it, not much else aside from Torb's new intro.

With the nearly 8,000 coins we had, bought Genji's Skin and Widow's skin, despite sucking with her, I guess we got what we wanted one way or another, we'd like Tracer's as well but, it isn't worth the 3,000 coins IMO, Torb's beardless one would be nice but eh, and if I wanted Rein's, I'd just buy his other helmet-less Epic.....
