WoT: The Elayne PoV is finally over! It wasn't even bad, just about ten times longer than it needed to be, without much plot or character development to show for it. I think I have figured out that this was the last book I finished back in the day, because I remember thinking "nothing has happened except a nameless dude getting knifed in an alley!" and that just happened. But, I distinctly remember Mat and maybe Aviendha getting killed and Rand bringing them back by balefire and unless I am retaining even worse than I thought, that hasn't happened.

That happened. That was when Rand kicked Rahvin out of Caemlyn like five books ago.

#FE: Accidentally ran afoul of a Savage enemy...but I beat him somehow! Then I got distracted by sidequests. No real progress made, but all the restaurants have gross food now so that's....good?

Euph 2-4- Awakening Oboe: NOTHING (I care about) IS HAPPENING but maybe we can be done with the drama-by-proxy arc now? They could've gotten me interested at the end if there was a better reason for this whole thing.

Trails: Reporting back to Bose, and going through the whole talking to everybody shtick. I hope we get more Maybelle and Olivier, and assume we will. But first, sidequests!

MLP 7-6- Forever Filly: I do think this is the first time I have beaten Silvergun to the punch! >_> Man, I'm getting old, but not so old that I don't remember exactly what this episode feels like. And old enough that I am kinda identifying with the Rarity side of things, too! It's rough realizing that you've grown apart, man. On the plus side, Flower Rarity!

WoT CoT: Bringing in Asha'man was an idea I didn't see coming, and an interesting one. I am cool with politics and discussions when they are actually interesting and progressing the plot! It is kinda frustrating knowing what The Thing was when most of the characters have come to the wrong conclusion about it.

Shadow Puppets: The Wiggins are on the same page and getting some development! Bean and Petra are married and fertilized! Everybody's finally gonna work on Achilles together! Life is good.

John 11-16: I missed that bit until now about the priest prophesying that Jesus would die and everybody going the wrong way with it!

Higurashi: At least the punishment scene wasn't too drawn out, I guess! ....And now things are starting to get creepy. I can't sort out quite how I feel about Shion- she's gone through a lot of rough stuff, and a lot of it isn't her fault, but some of it kinda is.

WoT CoT: ...well, I guess the Hand of the Shadow being the Dark One makes sense enough! Then again, I feel like it'd be a bigger reveal if it were true, especially with one "Dark One" dying already!

Trails: I still don't get what to do with Poms! I hit one this time at least...for 3 HP out of 486. Wandered onto Krone Trail trying to find sidequest objectives, and nearly died to a treasure box. ...Got some nice orbs out of it, though!

Clannad: This game does not let up, man. Imagine only playing the main story! On to the true ending, I guess!

Shining Poms you need to insta-kill with Shadow Spear or bop with an S-Craft (preferably one that has 200 CP). Or, if you don't care about killing them, just wait until there's a Sephith+ bonus and S-Break them for still a ton of stuff.

GameFAQs Contest: My bracket took a hit with 2001 over 1997, I guess FFVII is weaker than Super Smash Bros. Melee, so yeah, that will definitely not help. Anyways...

GameFAQs contest: Well, with the way things are going, my bracket will end on 70 points, considering 1998 should stay in the lead. 2001 cost 8 points in the end, and I randomly had lost 6 in the earlier rounds. All things considering, I didn't do all too bad.

Girl Genius: Hey, Agatha finally found some clothes! Good job. I'm loving all the references at the party.

Trails: We were still beat up from last time with the enemy in the chest, but after some healing we were able to find and beat the West Bose extermination on the way back! Then it was off to, uh, "Neber Valley" for another one. Kinda weird area- no map, a blackout at one point for no discernible reason, and kinda hardy enemies. Haven't found the extermination here yet, but I did find the Bear Claw area!

WoT CoT: I feel like we're about to get zombies and I feel like I don't want them.

I decided to play something else on PS2.

Silent Hill Origins: It's been a while, but yeah, not much yet, just past the opening area, and part way into the Hospital.

Although, I like how this game takes the whole normal and alternate world aspect a step further, where instead of running through the normal world section then ending up in the alternate world section, this game makes it so you can transition between both to progress through, where you may need key items and clues from both worlds to solve specific puzzles.

Silent Hill Origins: Finished off the hospital, as it's a rather short area, and then I got through the second city area pretty easily. [With the wide openness of the city, combined with the very slow moving enemies being the main reason.]

As for the second main area, the Sanitarium, that area can get confusing though, it's very very dark, and even with the flashlight, it only helps so much in some areas, and a lot of the hallways look the same. Good thing there's a map, which helps tremendously for that area, otherwise I would of gotten lost quite easily.

Fortunately, most of it isn't that bad, although I did get slightly tripped up on one puzzle at the end though. The map itself may look massive, but in reality, less than half of it is really exploreable.

Pokemon: I found an Absol! ...But I was half awake so I killed it without trying to catch it. I kinda like the beach with the black sand. Pokemon's surprisingly good at being creepy on the rare occasions where it wants to be. That one girl by the elevator still wigs me out.

WoT KoD: I feel like Jordan could stand to repeat people's names more. I didn't have an issue when I was reading, but I feel like with the audiobook, I miss their name at the start of the chapter and spend half the time trying to figure out who is talking through an endless series of pronouns. ....Elaida WASN'T calling for a hunt of the Black? Well heck.

Higurashi: The game crashed the first time creepy Mion showed up >_> I'm guessing this isn't the Sonozaki's doing at all? Also curious why there are two deaths and no demonings.

Non-fiction: Just finished Two-Person Game Theory. Good stuff, and an intro to non zero-sum games, but the math got a bit heavy towards the end, and it's not satisfying to be presented four different solutions to negotiated games. Finally managed to check out a Trump politics book from the library, so that's up next month.

After some time, I turned my attention back to Dark Souls.

Just been grinding out for some upgrade materials, mainly Titanite Slabs. The drop rate seems to be better than I can remember to be honest. 1-3 in an hour is quite good. All weapons[standard upgrade path+15, lightning+5 and crystal+5] and standard armor[+10] only need one of these, since it's exclusively for the final upgrade.

Red and White versions are doable, but seem to have worse drop rates overall.

Blue is the one I've never seen drop before though.

MLP 7-8- Hard to Say: Wonder if the Canadian version is any different? Sugar Belle is fine but mah Mac/Cheerilee. :\ I like Big Mac but I feel like he works better out of the spotlight, honestly.

WoT KoD: we're already fighting over Egwene's successor, geeze!

LP MGS2 15-1: This whole bit about Jack's past is one of those where it seems really melodramatic even though it is justifiably so. Oh hey, it's the trippy part! It is...indeed quite trippy. woo raidenbutt?
