Although TellTale is pretty cool and I would like to support the resurrection of that genre

better than mass effect!

and it's not really about the zombies. the game really captures the tone of the comic, and the performances are leagues better than the awful show. the zombie apocalypse is just the wrapper, it's all about the group politics and tense decisions that lay beneath. if you've got the time, I'd recommend the demo or the GiantBomb Quick Look.

It's worth it, especially so if you're a fan of either adventure games or The Walking Dead.

I don't know anything of the comic or game, but as a TV show, Walking Dead was one of those shows that I watched the first season of, knew was especially short for a season, thought was mediocre, but assumed would get picked up for a 2nd season, which I expected to impress me much more than the 1st season. All of my expectations were perfectly lived up to. My season 3 expectation now involves at least one machete and I have a feeling that this expectation will also be lived up to, and (hopefully) then some!

There was one season 2 penultimate incident I did not approve of at the time, but such things occur in life *shrugs*
