Some considerations to take note of when voting -Please be familiar with both songs. If you don't remember or haven't heard a song in any match, please listen to it. -Matches will (usually) last a minimum of 24 hours, except in the event of blowouts. You can vote until I lock the topic. -Don't post tallies of the score or rally one song over another please. Let's keep this fair. -Write ups aren't required, but I at least enjoy reading them!

Ah system0. When you came on Episode 1, back when I read Umineko so many years ago (like 3 or something?) I knew that I needed to read this series, that I would love it. Hearing those words 'Believing oneself to be perfect is...often the sign of a delusion mind' just hooked me permanently. And what followed was also really good...at the time. I mean, it's still a really good song, but it was so much better in context, that's when it was at its best. Summer's Door (Or Doorway of Summer, whatever) on the other hand, that's always been a great song to me. It's not terribly flashy and there's not anything really grandiose like some other songs try to be...and that's what makes it so good. It's got a lovely melody, it's memorable, heartwarming and just a fun song to listen to casually. Classic Umineko music at its finest.
(11)Tomorrow (Orchestral)
The superior version of Tomorrow, in my opinion. Perhaps its my fondness of orchestral pieces or whatever, but I really think this version of Tomorrow is *much* better than the original composition. It's able to capture the essence of it and build off it. As one person said back on the OT board, it's really quite a musical piece, dynamics, crescendos, and a well-balanced assortment of instruments. I'll have to disagree with Touphi's assessment that the song wants to cut loose, I think it already does, it reaches a suitable climax at about 1:25 and builds up to a triumphant finish at 1:48 before its repeat. Other than that one side comment, I think there's really nothing to fault this song on. It's just a really, really good piece of music.
So now I gotta talk about Patchwork Chimera. Let me first precede this by saying I do like Patchwork Chimera a lot and it would actually have a good chance of pulling in a vote if it was up against something else. Since I'm voting for Tomorrow though, I feel that I should explain the things that kept it from getting my vote alongside the good stuff. I'm not a huge fan of the heavy organ intro, although once gets going it turns out to be quite a good song. I will say that the organ does leave a nice, powerful impression, although I honestly wish it was slightly less...I hate to say it, but loud. The song when it doesn't have the organ in it is amazing and I really enjoy it but that damn intro...that damn intro. Also, parts Patchwork Chimera just doesn't leave as strong as an impression on as Tomorrow does. I'm liking what I'm hearing, but it just doesn't stick with me. Great song, but just not quite as great as Tomorrow.
