Finally, I've managed to piece together everything and have finished building/installing all of it to be able to enjoy it. This thing is indeed a monster of a computer, and I can't wait to get gaming on this thing. I'd just like to say a final thank you to Wang and everyone else who helped me to understand what I was doing, and even help narrow my selection down on many of the things I was looking at. You've all been a colossal-sized help, and I'm glad you guys took some time out to help me. I hope this inspires me to become more regular here on board 8 again (as pathetic as that may or may not sound) and hopefully I'll be playing some games with many of you.

Thanks again for all your wonderful help, everyone.

glad you finished this. i only lurked your topics because I wouldn't be a great help, but it's something I have my eyes set on later in the year as well.

From the outside looking in, yeah it's a total pain in the ass. Once you have it all in front of you, it's a LOT easier than it seems. Everything fits together in a very easy way, and the whole project of putting it together can be done in about an hour. It's actually quite simple. I would recommend it if you've got the time/money to put into it.

And I appreciate your lurking, icon! =D

as it is, i am hesitant to upgrade my current computer's video card because i'm not sure my power supply will be able to handle it

Well, should you ever decide to go for it, I'm sure you could ask around here and get more than enough help for it. After all, it's what I did. ^_^;;
