Maybe I'm just tuning it out since I hopped aboard the Ferry, but what about the fanbase is bad?

The flooding of trade requests I could see as potentially annoying, but that's just trying to push the character forward.

Oh that's an even worse answer because the Squall/Tidus hivemind was pretty dominate themselves and got one of their crew to the finals.

No one gets to the finals without some sort of lingering animosity around them though.

Nio, once again, that was just a mistake. Dominate is a verb only, not an adjective.

Doesn't change the fact that the hivemind existed and successfully pushed one of their own into the finals.

In terms of having a strong topic presence, I'd also give the nod to the Squall/Tidus alliance. They set themselves up as a coalition early on and did really well for themselves. This sudden groundswell of Zack support in the past few days has kinda taken me by surprise -- he was struggling a lot in the rounds leading up to the top 10, a lot more than either Squall or Tidus.

I will admit to being soulless though.
