Job interviews
Canceled appointments (doctor or otherwise) in which I may not be able to return your call
Emergencies in which you will not be able to receive my returned call

Maybe others, but never anything casual.

i don't see a problem with this. like sure it isn't of utmost importance or anything but it's better than just calling and not having any clue whether it's something important, if it's no longer relevant (ie, if someone is calling me for a ride or something i don't expect a voicemail since by the time i get to it they probably don't need a ride anymore), or whatever. it lets me know "they just wanna talk, it isn't important, i'll give them a call in a bit when i have some spare time"

if it's important, leave a message. you don't need to leave a message to let someone know your call isn't important >_>

Hah, I remember Dragonite dad. It's not really like that, I talk to him every day.

My mom leaves the most obnoxious and annoying voice mails ever. ALWAYS she will say "HEY it's me your mom" but she drags out her vowels which makes it worse, and then of course her voice is just naturally annoying.
