I can't get my consoles up where I live right now so all I have is my PC. I could buy Revelations off Steam for 40 dollars (maybe less if I wait for a sale) but I'm not going to pop for a game if the control scheme on a keyboard sucks or it's super buggy or something.
Entirely depends on how you play. Specifically if you can deal with the draconian drm or not. Without, I hear it's pretty good. With... Never heard anyone with.

The King Wang. Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
Whether you want multiplayer or not is irrelevant- the DRM requires you to always be connected to the authentication server.
If your connection drops while you're playing, it kicks you out of the game even if you're in single player.
The weird thing is, Ubisoft are fully aware of how awful this system is, as they always end up removing it after a while, saying they're paying attention to their fans... then announce that they're putting it in their next game anyway

"My name is Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and like my father before me, I am an accountant" Nothing is true. Everything is tax-deductible
Hm, I don't think constant connection would be a problem for me...sometimes my router craps out for a minute or two but it's pretty rare.
My computer is...pretty nice I suppose, it seems to run NBA 2K11 without a hitch, but it is just a laptop with embedded graphics. Very powerful laptop but still.
