I want to say, like, the Jefferson Memorial or something, a year or two ago. They were protesting a recent law banning dancing there, and it was one of the few legitimate instances of police abuse discussed on here, with the officers at one point lifting someone who wasn't actually resisting or fighting and throwing him to the ground.

The people deserved to be arrested for protesting stupidly, but the police behavior was excessively physical and the law is incredibly stupid.

I know somebody on here pointed out the irony of the fact that people got arrested for deliberate delinquency of an unjust law at a memorial of a man who stood for deliberate delinquency of unjust laws.
