Board 8 > Which book is Season 2 of A Game of Thrones covering?

Season 1 was pretty much just covering book 1, right? Did it cover all the material in there? If so, have they moved on to A Clash of Kings?

Season 1 covered books 1, 2, 5, and 18. Season 2 is covering books 9 through 12

Cool. I'm still reading the books right now, only on A Feast for Crows. I don't know if I should start watching the show,or wait until I'm caught up on the books.

Why would a show go chronologically mirite?

From what I've heard...

1 - GoT
2- CoK
3 and 4 - SoS

After this, we don't really know. They'll probably run the plots in parallel instead of ignoring half of the characters for a season. I imagine some other changes to handle the adaption from books to TV. We'll see in a few years.

Yeah this is what I heard as well. Although I have no idea the way it works, I haven't read the books and I've only watched the first season on DVD (I don't have HBO).
