16 of the most prominent Song of Ice and Fire characters are left! Who is the best character GRRM has ever created?! The most votes per round wins and moves on in this bracket style competition. The contest will continue until the most popular character in Westeros is crowned!!!

This contest can be found on 2 different boards, but only one vote per user will be accepted. The two boards are: Books and Literature and Gamefaqs Contests. Any suspicious votes will be discounted. Each character will be supplied with a link to Wiki Song of Ice and Fire that briefly describes them and their accomplishments throughout the series. There’s a lot of characters in this series, my hope is that these links will remind users who did what and when.

I don't know about the books because I'm not that far into them, but Eddard is a top 1 character in the show so Jorah can't possibly be!

(10)Jorah Mormont - Eddard's great and is the perfect POV character for the first book, he's effectively our martyr, dying so we can appreciate the sheer nastiness of this world; that said, Jorah is a fascinating character throughout. His surprisingly sad and murky backstory, his relationship with Dany, his character in book 5... it's all so good.
