How are you supposed to pronounce "Theatrhythm", it doesn't flow right in my head.

If you say the two words together you should naturally slur the R sounds.

That's a valid point of course. But whenever I look at the word I get this insatiable urge to think there are two R sounds going on because it's a merging of two words which end and begin with one, respectively.

I think it's just a classic example of how different brains handle things differently, really. (In this case your brains clearly win out.)

It would have been cooler to play through quickened versions of each game, RPG-style, with battles being rhythm-based like this. From what I understand, they're just segmented areas with music, right?

yeah without DLC it seems each game has 5 songs. They can all be played together in a story type mode as I posted in that FFIV video with a prelude that I assume sets up the story, then a field song, a movie song and a battle song, then an ending that I assume tells you how the game ends.
