I was skeptical to buy another edition, but it's fantastic. Cleaned up picture, better translation for the subtitles, etc.

Disc One has director's cut.
Disc Two has theatrical release.
Disc Three has Battle Royale 2.
Disc Four has a ton of bonus features.

I'd say it's a must have for fans of the movie. In the unlikely event you like Battle Royale 2, cool. A bonus for you.

I love the packaging, but I have no use for the bonus stuff. I'll probably pick up the regular edition BR and check out the bonus features from the complete collection from my library.

I got the Blu Ray set. The only odd thing is the bonus feature disc is a DVD. Doesn't bug me, but still strange.
