I was suspicious of you too at first, but you seemed to be new to this whole thing since I remember you asking questions about the contest. I suppose you could've faked it all, but you seemed genuine enough to not be rallied I guess.
I'm fairly certain carvy saved Kuja before in this contest (which I found suspicious at the time, but no one else said anything about it, so I assumed it was okay).

My particular issue is with people who are B-8 regulars who only show up for the final rush. Carv is a long time Garnet saver and certainly legit normally, but what are the odds that these people show up right at the end? Ngirl I think always does this, though I may be forgetting any counter examples. It simply must be rallying, in some form.

Sure they will. People only tattle on people they don't like to cause drama.
He's always had two options. Ride the fence or act on his conscience. I don't blame him for searching for middle ground and I'm not going to remark on him being a bad host or biased. I know that isn't the case because I understand he is trying to stay on the fence.
Acting on conscience alone is important in life sometimes though, at least in my opinion.

AIM isn't a secret. If you want to IM someone the door is open, regardless if you're friends or not. As for that other thing, I don't try to explain some people's actions.
And Maria, my instinct tells me that he did not cheat because it would be stupid to do it with something as ridiculous as an account who had posted a grand total of once on this board. If someone cheats, they do it cleverly so they don't get caught, right?

See, this has been like my gimmick for the past couple years though so I am well aware that you don't have to be rallied to do this.
All of these end of rounds are going to start looking suspect I fear, partially because some people like cheating and partially because it's the end of the contest and more people like to throw their hat into the ring.

life isn't a mystery novel though, there's no reason to give the culprit the benefit of the doubt. when people do get caught, it's almost always because they did something stupid without realizing it, allowing themselves to be caught. plus his scummy behavior makes me 100% confident that it really was him, whether there's enough evidence to 'prove' it or not.

Has nothing to do with that. I just ask myself logically if a reasonably intelligent person who knows how this contest works planned to cheat, would they cheat like that? My instinct just screams "no". It was brazen and far too obvious. There was never a hope it would go undetected, which makes me question why someone would rally such a person. Hence my skepticism and belief in other motives.
man I can't wait for this contest to end. I hope mnkboy admits that he rallied so you all look like the massive idiots you are being. this is literally so obvious it makes me think of anyone who doesn't agree on this point as legitimately mentally deficient.
