yup, I had been holding onto my tax refund to see if I was going to need it for anything. but financially I'm pretty solid lately, so figured I might as well do it.
PS+ sounds cool. But isn't it one of those things where any game you get for free disappears once you stop being subscribed?
Also I just discovered that I can finally play CTR in four player mode on PS3. Greatest console ever.

So how does this account name thing work? I can change my sign in name for my console, but I can't change the connected online name? Is the stuff I'm buying from PSN store stay connected to my account, or my console? If I delete my account does it go away forever, or does it just disappear from my console and can be reconnected to it later? Someone give me an overview!
Also Joyrock the idea of punching you in the face in a video game does sound appealing, which FGs do you play again?
I, too, used my tax refund to buy myself a PS3. As such, I will adding the PSNs offered in this topic whenever I get it online. Look out for a friend request or whatever from "snowpork", assuming everything goes off without a hitch.

I play MVC3, SSF4, and Blazblue right now(Badly for all three) and am looking to get UMVC3.
And I believe your account is just deleted from the console, but the account stays within PSN.

It doesn't disappear from your console, but you do have to remain a PS+ subscriber in order to play it. If you buy something on sale, though, it's yours to keep regardless.

Yeah, the name of the console can be changed, but not the PSN username. Your downloads are connected to your account, so if you bought a whole new PS3, you could sign in and redownload all your old games. You can also share games with friends who have a PS3 if you sign-in on their console. Pretty good. Also, any games bought on your account can be played by other accounts on the same system.

I'm "Firebeef" because Snowpork was taken, shockingly.
yeah I was in the same boat. apparently I'm not the only guy who goes by IglooBob on the internet. p sure they stole it from me since I thought of that like a decade ago and thought it was the best idea for a username ever.
